Johnnie Walker Virtual Influencer Event
Before influencers/content creators were a “thing,” liquor brands would primarily rely on in-person events to engage traditional media. In the early days of social media, Olivia proposed conducting an online event via a webcast with the newly emerging online influencer community, particularly with spirits bloggers and Twitter users with strong followings. This included mailing the influencers a set of whiskey tasting supplies and holding a webcast in which a master distiller conduced the tasting experience. The virtual event not only garnered millions of online impressions but also won a PRSA Bronze Anvil Award for Best Use of Video.
